Diana founded Stay Fit in 2006, inspired by her father, a plastic surgeon. She pursued a medical career and, in 1999, earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University Medical School. Diana also has a Master of Science in Counseling that she earned in 1997.
Prior to opening Stay Fit, Diana worked as a staff clinical director in outpatient orthopedics for several years. Diana has over 18 years of clinical experience. Her area of expertise is in the rehabilitation of the spine, and she works in restoring neutral biomechanics to prevent injury and to assist clients in moving safely and freely. She is particularly interested in chronic pain cases and is successful in restoring an active lifestyle for clients no matter what their history is. She uses her Pilates training with traditional physical therapy to achieve optimal results. Diana also combines her counseling and physical therapy skills by offering wellness consulting services to help individuals achieve optimal wellness every day. She is a certified nutritional physical therapist and enjoys helping people on their long term weight loss journey through physical therapy.
Diana is a longstanding member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Private Practice Section, Orthopedic Section, and the Illinois Physical Therapy Association. She is also an active member of the Downtown Merchants Association in Mount Prospect.
Recently, Diana was named one of the top Physical Therapists in the Chicago Area by Chicago magazine and Five Star Award Recognition.
Diana is married to Rafi and has three boys, Micah, Benjamin and Samuel. She enjoys reading and running. Her goal in life is to honor God in all she does and to enjoy every part of the journey!
